“Against a backdrop of heartland fears that U.S.Muslims seek to impose Islamic law on American courts, a leading Muslim group will launch a campaign on Monday to dispel what it called misconceptions about Shariah. The “Defending Religious Freedom: Understanding Shariah” campaign comes at a time when more than 20 states are considering or have passed laws forbidding judges from considering Shariah in their deliberations. Many Americans associate Shariah with the harsh punishments carried out in a few Muslim countries like Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia, even as U.S. Muslim groups insist they have no desire to introduce Islamic law on themselves or others. “There were all these wrong notions about Shariah,” said professor Zahid Bukhari, president of the Islamic Circle of North America, which is sponsoring the campaign. The most worrisome thing, he said, was that the level of hatred toward Shariah had spread from the margins of society to the mainstream. The ICNA campaign has already drawn fire from “anti-Shariah” groups in the United States.
The roughly $3 million dollar campaign will feature billboards in at least 15 U.S. cities, “Shariah seminars” on 20 college campuses, and town hall-style forums and interfaith events in 25 cities. Sponsors also set-up a 1-855-SHARIAH hotline where callers can ask volunteers about Islamic law, and has even hired an outside public relations firm, The TASC Group in New York City, to shepherd the effort. At least two billboards are already up. “Shariah is not scary” is the message that flashes on an electronic billboard above New York City’s Holland Tunnel, seen by an estimated 120,000 people every day. Another billboard on I-70 in Kansas City reads “Shariah: Got Questions? Get Answers,” and lists the toll-free number and campaign website. In March, ICNA will sponsor town hall meetings or lectures in Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Boston, and several other U.S. cities and college campuses.
A comprehensive survey of U.S. mosques release Wednesday by a group of Muslim and non-Muslim scholars found that most American mosques (56%) use a less literal approach to Islamic texts and teachings that form the basis for Islamic law. By comparison, just 11% follow a traditionalist school of thought, and the rest (31%) take a conservative but still “flexible” approach. Even before the campaign was launched, there was already pushback from two groups, the American Freedom Defense Initiative and Stop the Islamization of Nations, both categorized as hate groups by the Southern Poverty Law Center. Pamela Geller, a founder of both groups and a lead organizer of the opposition to a proposed Islamic cultural center near Ground Zero, called the campaign “a complete whitewash.” The two groups have designed a billboard parodying ICNA’s Kansas City billboard. “Shariah: Got Fatwa? Get help!” it says, along with a toll-free number and website, neither of which worked. I am sharing this article because I believe that this kind of news is important because Islam has sworn World Domination. After the fall of Gadhafi, there was some talk of Libya perhaps becoming a democracy, but according to this article religion/Islam will take over in the form of Shariah law. I was not expecting any different, especially when it was reported that the Muslim brotherhood played a part in the unrest in Egypt and Libya.
Americans should be very concerned, in light of worldwide unrest, the global activity of Islam, the allegiance of the American government, and worldwide deception; especially in this upcoming election year in the US. Our democracy as disingenuous as it may be has afforded us freedoms that oppressed people of the world have longed and died for, particularly our freedom to choose the God we pray to. (Mission Network News) After months of fighting an oppressive dictator, Libyans rejoiced in Moammar Gadhafi’s death last week. The death, not just of the man but seemingly of the symbol of oppression, represented change and ultimately freedom.
But has freedom really come?
On Sunday, the nation’s interim leader Mustafa Abdel Jalil announced in a speech that the country would defer from now on to Islamic Shariah law. Several sources report Jalil exclaiming, “Any law that violates Shariah is null and void legally.”
An immediate change to the way Libya runs was the decision that “the law of divorce and marriage” would be altered, now allowing for polygamy with few guidelines.
Tom Doyle with E3Partners says this is the very tip of the iceberg. It’s a steep downward slope from here.
“I think young revolutionaries again have kind of been duped where they thought they were getting rid of this terrible dictator but did not look down the line on what the potential was for the next leadership,” explains Doyle. “What happened is they freed themselves from a dictator. [Gadhafi] was not a great guy, admittedly. But in the end, it’s going to be far worse for them with Shariah law being implemented and hardline Islam taking over.”
Some rebels have reported outrage at the announcement, but whether or not a decision made by a temporary government is legal hardly makes a difference, says Doyle.
“I don’t know if it’s legal, but when they establish Islamic law over national law, then in their minds (the radicals),” he explains, “they can do just about anything they think. So even though it’s not constitutional, it probably won’t matter in the end.”
Doyle believes plans to utterly Islamicize Libya have been under way for a long time. Under Gadhafi, Doyle points out, the solution to Libya’s problems was viewed as converting every Arab to Islam. Christians were under serious duress.

Peter King (R-LI) said only, “I don’t respond to Hamas.” Mayor Bloomberg, a strong supporter of the plan, declined comment through a spokesman. Feisal Abdul Rauf, the imam behind the proposed mosque, and two other leaders of the plan who previously had commented extensively, were silent yesterday. They did not respond to The Post’s phone calls or e-mails about the Hamas endorsement. Hamas first came up in the mosque debate earlier this summer when Abdul Rauf refused to describe the group as a terrorist organization — despite the State Department listing that identifies it as such. Tom Brown, a chief opponent of the mosque, said: “This is what we’ve been saying . . . Imam Rauf is a radical Muslim who will not call Hamas a terror group.” A retired firefighter who was a first responder on 9/11, Brown lost 100 of his FDNY friends at the Twin Towers. “How much evidence do we need that this guy is a radical Muslim?” he asked. “If Rauf really were a bridge builder and an interfaith guy and all the things he professes to be, he wouldn’t be doing this to people.” Abdul Rauf raised eyebrows last week when he departed on a State Department-sponsored goodwill mission to the Middle East, despite concerns that the trip may be helping him with the mosque’s $100 million fund-raising goal.

National Day Of Prayer
President Obama issued a National Day of Prayer proclamation, but he has canceled the interfaith service normally held at the White House, a tradition that only started under the Bush administration. The administration is however appealing a ruling last month that the official day of prayer is unconstitutional, meanwhile…

“I want to extend my best wishes to the 1.5 billion Muslims around the world – and your families and friends – as you welcome the beginning of Ramadan,” Obama said in an official statement issued by the US State Department.
“Ramadan is a celebration of a faith known for great diversity and racial equality. And here in the United States, Ramadan is a reminder that Islam has always been part of America.”

What is Iftar and Ramadan?
Iftar: Iftar (Arabic: إفطار), refers to the evening meal when Muslims break their fast during the Islamic month of Ramadan. Iftar is one of the religious observances of Ramadan and is often done as a community, with people gathering to break their fast together. Iftar is done right after Maghrib (sunset) time. Traditionally, a date is the first thing to be consumed when the fast is broken (Wikipedia).

Why is it not unconstitutional for the White House to participate in Iftar, one of the religious observances of Ramadan, as it is to host a group of Evangelical Christians for a service that observes a National Day of Prayer.

The First Amendment, of the Bill of Rights reads:

It appears to me, from the small sampling of these documents and the pledge of allegiance, that the founding fathers of the United States were interested in having a nation founded upon freedoms and rights that were indelibly linked to a Creator God; this is America’s National Heritage, to be One Nation under God, indivisible… America became a great nation because of the way in which the founding fathers honored God. America has never been a perfect nation, but because God was honored from the very beginning by the Puritans and other Christian believers, it became a blessed nation.
Any potential student, who wanted to enter any of the Ivy League Universities, had to name the name of Christ to enter in. In fact, the entire education system was founded upon the wisdom and righteousness of the Word of God. Well, look at our schools now…explicit sex education is taught. Condoms are being handed out, in a certain school system, to First Graders. Students are having sex in school with other students. Teachers are having sex with students and selling drugs to students. Murder. We spend hundreds of thousand of dollars to teach Johnny, and he still can’t read. Our educational system at best is inferior to other countries. Why? Because our educational system no longer has a foundation built upon the wisdom and righteousness of God’s Word. Morality, prayer and Christ were put out of the school and now you see what has taken root in its place, immorality.
Our nation is divided, and Racism has become much more OVERT. Congressman Joe Wilson publicly called Obama a “liar.” Our president has been referred to as “an alien in the White House;” an African Witch Doctor, a socialist; the Obama’s have been referred to as “monkeys in the White House.” and the president’s every move is being criticized. Are these not tactics to stir up fear and further polarize the people of our nation? We have a black man in the highest office in the land, racism is offended. Because racism says blacks are genetically inferior, racism says blacks need to stay in the place that white society has relegated them to, racism says blacks are not qualified to lead white people, and certainly not the “old white boy network.” When the fore-fathers penned…We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal; they didn’t mean the captured Africans that they enslaved, because the slaves were considered less than fully human. But the fathers declared that all men are created equal, God agreed, and the North won the Civil War. Even Thomas Jefferson, who was a slave owner, knew that a price would be paid for enslaving human beings that God alone created to be free.
The Republicans and Democrats are divided, and don’t seem to be collectively invested in pulling this nation out of its crisis. The election of 2012 seems more important, because the spirit of racism says we’ve got to get that Negro out of Office. The Left is against the Right and Conservatives against Liberals, the immigration problem, the BP oil spill, gay rights, Arabs and Israelites. In the midst of this, a Russian spy ring has been discovered; since the recent Times Square terrorist bomb that failed to blow-up, and there has been an additional threat conspiring to detonate explosives in the New Yorksubway system. Muslims are donating great sums of money to American Universities so that they (Muslims) can establish Islamic departments and teach their propaganda to angry, disgruntled, disillusioned impressionable, students, and produce more home grown Islamic terrorists, and Muslim followers. But WE proclaimed/pledged that America is ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL. Even our $ proclaims in God We Trust. And so the pledge and declarations are pulling us forward to our National Heritage that is ONLY found in our Creator God. There is only ONE MAN that can bring RIGHTEOUSNESS to our Nation and World, The Lord Jesus Christ. So while the nation is high on drugs, blacked out on booze, drunk on high fat foods; and our leaders, who should be defending and protecting our nation and its people, are jockeying for government thrones by making promises they don’t keep; while we continue to practice covert and overt racism, frightening our country along racial lines; and while we continue to kill one another; and while we become consumed by our lust for sex, lies, and video tapes, wealth and greed; our enemies are infiltrating our communities to further the destruction of our Country that we Americans began. We cannot commit the atrocities that America has committed throughout history including the on-going abortion rate of 3,700 abortions a day and 1.37 million babies aborted yearly, (http://www.abortionno.org/Resources/fastfacts.html) and not expect to reap a harvest of destruction within our own borders.
